Overview:

Chipton-Ross is seeking several Manufacturing Engineer 2 professionals for a contract opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develops operational sequences and defines procedures for the creation of tools and equipment, along with other functions impacting product performance.

- Modifies machine or equipment designs to align with production and factory conditions, integrating inspection and testing requirements into the production strategy.

- Evaluates machinery, equipment, and tool performance to confirm their efficiency, addressing and initiating corrective measures for any issues to uphold product quality.

- Innovates manufacturing processes that align with statistical process control, potentially developing those methodologies.

- Advises engineering teams on design concepts and specification needs to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

- Ensures that all processes and procedures adhere to regulatory standards.


Required Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is mandatory.

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is essential.

- Extensive experience in mechanically and electrically oriented manufacturing engineering, preferably within the Aerospace sector.

- Candidates should have completed a significant manufacturing engineering project, ideally leading a team to achieve project objectives.

- Proven problem-solving experience is crucial.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt is advantageous.


Educational Requirements:

- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is required from an accredited institution.


Work Schedule:

- 9/80 workweek.
