Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Zanesville, OH. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and enforcing laws and regulations within the city.

• Patrol assigned areas to serve citizens and enforce laws and regulations
• Respond to emergency calls and handle situations requiring intervention and mediation
• Conduct investigations, collect evidence, and testify in court proceedings
• Direct traffic, enforce traffic laws, and issue citations
• Provide assistance to the public, including medical help and first aid as needed
• Complete reports and maintain daily activities log

• Must be a US Citizen, 21 years of age or older
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• Possess a Valid Driver's License
• Currently employed as a sworn law enforcement officer, part-time/full-time
• Law Enforcement Officer with a minimum of 1 year experience
• Currently in an approved pension system
