Job Title: Registered Nurse RN - Oncology Med Surg

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Oncology Med Surg team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse RN on our Oncology Med Surg team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and evidence-based guidelines to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
  • Certification in specialty area preferred
  • One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred
