Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at a leading hospital in the New York metropolitan area. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and images
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
- Two (2) Years' Experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Covid Vaccination or Medical exemption

Preferred Qualifications:
- Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process
- Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
