Nondestructive Test Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Test Specialist to join our team at Pacific Shipyards International. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through nondestructive testing, inspection, and evaluation.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in nondestructive testing, inspection, and evaluation, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct nondestructive tests and inspections to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Evaluate test results and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on nondestructive testing techniques and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, materials science) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in nondestructive testing, inspection, and evaluation.
- ASNT Level I certification or higher preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
