We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse IV to join our team at the Department of Developmental Services. Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessments, risk reviews, and nursing home evaluations to ensure high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Participate in medication reviews, complete mortality reviews, and document all nursing notes and observations in Meditech.
- Develop and maintain a list of local healthcare resources that provide quality services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Represent the Area health care issues as a member of the Regional Health Care Committee and at the Regional Nurses meeting.
- Collaborate with medical and psychiatric providers to facilitate communication and coordination of care with individuals, families, and healthcare providers.
- Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- At least two years of full-time experience as a registered nurse in a recognized hospital, clinic, or medical facility, with at least one year in a supervisory, administrative, or managerial capacity.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong computer skills and ability to transcribe, read, and comprehend the English language.
