Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team at Assisting Hands Home Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes.

Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check and obtain necessary certifications
  • CPR certification and Home Health Aid certification from an accredited school or valid Florida CNA license
  • HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's and Dementia, and Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication training certificates
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a caregiver
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, as needed
  • Escort clients to appointments and errands, as needed
  • Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition
