Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including emergency rooms, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses stations, and exam rooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning on a timely basis, including high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities, and floor care.
  • Remove and transport trash and medical infectious waste, as well as move furniture and other equipment.
  • Work with and/or near patients and hospital staff, frequent exposure to medical infectious waste, frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture.
  • Continuous physical position changes are required to accommodate the cleaning of environmental surfaces.
  • Climb stepladders, frequent kneeling and stooping, and constant repetitive hand/arm motions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and comprehend English.
  • Stable work history, with positions held for at least 6 months.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a hospital setting. The role involves working with and/or near patients and hospital staff, frequent exposure to medical infectious waste, frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture.
