Job Description

The City and County of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist Lead to join our team in the Department of Public Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of our radiology department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of radiologic technologists and support staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Manage and maintain radiology equipment and supplies
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Four (4) years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current license issued by the State of California as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ARRT certification in at least one advanced modality
  • Valid permit in Fluoroscopy equipment issued by California Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch
  • Certification in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued by the American Heart Association
