About the Role

At ChenMed, we're transforming healthcare for seniors and changing America's healthcare for the better. As a X-Ray Technician, you'll play a vital role in our mission to improve the health and well-being of the populations we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients under X-ray machines, adjust immobilization devices, and provide appropriate radiation protection.
  • Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians, including procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records of services rendered, including radiological film files and storage.
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and practice OSHA safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Radiological Technology or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator.
  • Minimum of 1 year x-ray technologist work experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Licensed and/or certified if required by state regulations.
  • EMR system experience is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
