Key Responsibilities- Position patients under X-ray machines, adjust immobilization devices, and provide appropriate radiation protection.
- Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians, including procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of services rendered, including radiological film files and storage.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and practice OSHA safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduate from an accredited program for Radiological Technology or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator.
- Minimum of 1 year x-ray technologist work experience in a healthcare environment.
- Licensed and/or certified if required by state regulations.
- EMR system experience is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
