Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As an Ambulatory Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients in an ambulatory setting, including administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, and collecting patient health history.
- Collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care and implement evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to provide the best possible care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) or Diploma in Nursing with plans to earn a B.S.N. within one year.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (R.P.N.) license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (B.L.S.) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (A.C.L.S.) certification.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
- Ambulatory experience in GYN, preferably 1-2 years.
