Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for identifying and reducing security risks in our software applications. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest level of security and ensure the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security training programs for internal and external development teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on architecture, authentication, encryption, and systems security for our software applications.
  • Assess security tools and integrate them as needed, particularly open-source tooling.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve the security of our technology stack.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in application security.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Active DoD Security Clearance.
