Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon. As a Speech Therapist, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Speech/Language Pathology to provide speech therapy to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech therapy to residents in accordance with comprehensive care planning
- Assist in screening, evaluating, and treatment of residents
- Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive care
- Possess knowledge of age-specific developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents
- Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association
- Must have a current New York State License as Speech/Language Pathologist
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
