Job Summary

US Foods is seeking a reliable and skilled Class B Straight Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products to our customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Safely drive a Class B straight truck to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Product Handling: Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Verify accuracy of delivery with customers, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable.
  • Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform all necessary pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • CDL Requirements: Valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift, and comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops.
