Key Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of our team, you will help transform the electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV market by:
- Managing the design and development of power conversion and distribution systems for our vehicles, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal specifications.
- Providing specialized knowledge in power electronics, focusing on converter/inverter design, battery management systems, and charging technologies.
- Creating requirement documentation and overseeing DFMEA processes and design evaluations for power electronics components.
- Establishing and executing comprehensive testing and validation procedures to confirm the performance and reliability of power systems.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and safety regulations for all power conversion and distribution systems.
- Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to select and manage suppliers for power electronics components, guaranteeing quality and reliability.
- Mentoring a team of engineers focused on power electronics, converters, inverters, and distribution systems.
This role necessitates regular attendance at in-person meetings and events. The position is based at our office, and occasional travel may be required for company events.
Qualifications

- A Master's degree or PhD in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, with a preference for PhD holders.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in power electronics design and development, particularly in electric vehicle applications.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including project management experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for power electronics design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices concerning power conversion and distribution.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
