Job Summary
DMOS Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and procedures, ensuring seamless communication with our medical team and patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, insurance information, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with our medical team to ensure timely and effective communication with patients and their families.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on orthopedic conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other software applications used in a medical office setting.
