We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Peri-operative team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As an RN in the OR setting, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional intra-operative care to patients, assessing and monitoring their medical status while in the OR.
- Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Minimum 1 year previous perioperative experience or completion of Perioperative Nursing course preferred.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required.
