Role Responsibilities
As a Pest Management and Rodent Control Trainee, your primary duties will include performing pest, termite, rodent, and mosquito management using environmentally friendly products. You will be assigned a specific route, and your tasks will involve service delivery, customer support, and collaboration with office personnel. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts during busy periods.
- Inspect, assess, and execute exclusion services and animal removal, including trapping and light carpentry tasks, which may involve working at heights.
- Apply products in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Create and interpret property treatment diagrams, explaining them to clients.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service skills, self-motivation, and independence.
- Engage with potential clients, present service options, and secure new business opportunities.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, including processing payments.
- Schedule follow-up services as necessary.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, effective time management, and adaptability.
- Participate in rotational Saturday shifts and be available for on-call duties on Sundays as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high customer retention rates.
- Ensure a low rate of callbacks.
- Achieve a minimum utilization rate of 65% of your time.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Secure at least 5 monthly reviews across platforms.
- Maintain a solid safety record.
- Generate a minimum of 10 estimate appointments each month.
Qualifications
- Driver's License - Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Fitness - Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Certification Requirements - Must obtain Quality Pro Certification & Apprentice License within 90 days of employment.
