Nurse Next Door - Charlotte Metro is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families.

As an LPN at Nurse Next Door, you will work closely with our Care Designers to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. You will provide comprehensive professional nursing care, engage in open communication with clients and their families, and respond to scheduling inquiries and updates in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive professional nursing care consistent with the care plan, nursing assessments, and client needs.
  • Engage in open communication with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Respond to scheduling inquiries and updates in a timely manner.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and linen changes.
  • Deliver client and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited college or university Licensed Practical Nurse program and one year of recent related nursing experience in the acute care setting.
  • Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in G-Suite: Gmail, drive, docs, calendar.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intentional organization, planning, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting and achieving goals.
  • Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
  • Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
