This is a 13-week contract with a 40-hour workweek, offering a flexible 10-hour shift schedule.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examinations, perform 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies.
- Prepare preliminary interpretations of these studies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient echo studies.
- Assist supervising physicians with training residents, fellows, and other physicians.
- Stay up-to-date with multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
- Strong interpretation skills for comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations.
- Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
