Virtual Special Education Specialist for Ohio K-12 Schools

As a Virtual Intervention Specialist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs across Ohio's K-12 schools.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced special education professional to join our team as a Virtual Intervention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities- Customized Learning Plans: Develop and implement data-driven IEPs and 504 plans that meet students' individual needs.
- Engaging Virtual Instruction: Create and deliver high-quality lessons in a virtual setting, adapting teaching strategies for diverse learning styles.
- Behavioral Support and Management: Utilize evidence-based behavioral interventions to foster a supportive online classroom environment.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary to meet goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Ohio Intervention Specialist Certification or valid Ohio teaching license with an Intervention Specialist endorsement.
- Experience in IEP development and implementation, with a focus on tailored accommodations and modifications.
- Proven ability to deliver remote instruction effectively, particularly with students requiring specialized support.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with students, families, and educational staff.
- Technology proficiency, including digital learning platforms and assistive technologies.
