We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview, Texas. As a key member of our Geriatric Psych Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN nursing license
- Assume leadership responsibility for day-to-day coordination of patient care activities
- Participate in performance improvement through completion of assigned chart monitoring
- Communicate with the medical staff on identified patient issues
- Perform patient care assessments timely and accurately
- 1 year minimum experience in inpatient medical care
- Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification (preferred but not required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Associate degree in nursing (required)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
