Join Our Team as a Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Observing residents in assigned units and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
  • Taking care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, and other essential tasks
  • Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
  • Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
  • Making beds and keeping residents' spaces clean and tidy
  • Transporting residents within the facility
  • Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a valid NY State CNA certification
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be in good standing with the State Registry
  • Have a diploma or GED
  • Be able to work as a team member
