Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Health Programs Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with patient education, and contributing to a work environment that is caring, collaborative, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate comprehensive care for all patients
- Provide relevant patient education, both written and verbally
- Make patient appointments and coordinate timely scheduling of appointments for ancillary services and specialty referrals
- Respond to patient emergencies within the scope of RN license
- Screen, triage, and respond to patients' inquiries via telephone, EMR messages, or walk-in
- Assist physicians in all procedures requiring nursing level support
- Administer immunizations and allergy shots, manage requests for prescription medication, and process laboratory results
- Perform other routine office duties as requested
- An RN/BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required
- Current BLS certification is required
- A minimum of three years' experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred
- Recent experience in the medical office/outpatient setting is preferred
- Experience in an OB/GYN setting is required
- Electronic medical records experience is required
- Licensed as a RN by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
