Job Summary

Haul USA is seeking a skilled CDL-A Dedicated Yard Switcher to join our team. As a Dedicated Yard Switcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at our customer's location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials between locations.
  • Ensure the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks, adhering to strict schedules and deadlines.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Drive safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Complete fuel tickets and obtain sales leads to optimize routes and increase revenue.
  • Hook and unhook trailers, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Enter and exit the rear of a trailer from ground level, using caution to avoid accidents.

Requirements
  • Class A CDL required.

  • No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years.
  • No serious violations within the previous 12 months.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years.
  • No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years.
