Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist III to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform nuclear medicine procedures to produce accurate and timely results
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
Requirements
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience in nuclear medicine
  • California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
