Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

• Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Process and manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers
• Assist with clinical services, including blood/urine sample collection and labeling
• Develop and maintain good relationships with local medical community, including physicians and other healthcare providers

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification
