We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE. This is a full-time opportunity with an estimated salary range of $48,000 - $65,000 per year.

Job Summary

In this role, you will provide essential support to our healthcare team, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and supporting patients, preparing them for virtual visits, and performing various administrative and clinical tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills
  • Perform point-of-care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, as well as assist clinicians with examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records, complete patient-specific paperwork, and ensure EMR is up-to-date
