Job Title: Delivery Driver - Islandia

At US Foods, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team in Islandia. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers
  • Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops
