Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter-EMT or Paramedic to join our team at the City of Burnet, Texas. As a Firefighter-EMT or Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency fire, rescue, and medical incidents, providing emergency medical treatment, and performing various duties related to firefighting and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide emergency medical treatment
  • Operate firefighting and emergency medical equipment
  • Perform fire suppression and rescue activities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other emergency responders
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • EMT-B certification
  • Firefighter certification
  • Valid Texas driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Paramedic certification
  • Experience as a firefighter or EMT
