Podiatric Medical Assistant

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
A) Execute professional medical assisting and front office reception responsibilities, which include:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing and responding to telephone inquiries.
- High proficiency in data entry for insurance claims, assisting with claim rejections, and managing other insurance-related tasks.
- Capability to effectively multitask during patient check-in and check-out, while managing documentation flow appropriately.
- Strong aptitude for collecting payments at the front desk in a respectful yet assertive manner to ensure business revenue.
- Carry out various front office duties, including scanning documents into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), handling medical images, and performing clerical tasks with a high level of computer proficiency.
B) Fulfill professional medical assistant duties as needed, which include:
- While primarily focused on administrative tasks, the candidate must be prepared to assist with in-office medical procedures when required.
- Support patient flow by escorting individuals to treatment rooms, assisting with medical office organization, and preparing for in-office procedures.
- Conduct tasks such as performing laser treatments, shock wave therapy, circulation tests, and accurately entering data into the EHR.
Requirements: Candidates must be quick learners with 3-5 years of experience in a medical office environment, possess excellent computer and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a desire for personal and professional growth.
