Job Summary:

Rady Children's Hospital seeks a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our department team members. As a Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical mentoring, training, and oversight of the team. Your expertise will be essential in resolving operational issues and supporting the overall business plan by monitoring performance relative to established goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients through administration and interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, hands-on skills, and patient/family interview.
  • Create individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs, and provide patient/family training.
  • Work collaboratively with the department manager and other discipline and center leaders.
  • Independently evaluate patients and develop treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a field related to the position.
  • 2 Years of experience in occupational therapy.
  • BLS for Health Providers (AHA) certification.
  • Current NBCOT Certification.
  • Current California Occupational Therapy license or eligible if licensed in another state.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree (non MD).
  • 5 Years of experience in occupational therapy.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Board certification in advanced practice (SWC, HTC, PAM).
Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06. Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
