Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Management: Transport drums of waste and dispose of them in designated hoppers.
  • Materials Identification: Detect and label drums filled with various substances.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and offload drums onto trucks.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Separate hazardous and non-hazardous waste and place them in the correct areas of the warehouse.
  • Cleaning and Safety: Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse, while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
  • Physical Ability: Physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to understand and respond to instructions.
  • Safety Training: OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: General labor experience, materials handling, and forklift operation.
