Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Autocad Technician/Designer to join our team. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for lending CAD support and completing CAD assignments for various disciplines and offices. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, drafting standards, and the ability to work under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and comprehend drawings from various disciplines before initiating drafting effort on any specific item.
  • Interpret redline instructions reflected on marked up drawings.
  • Draft plans from various disciplines using design and drafting standards under direct supervision.
  • Develop cross-divisional relationships and provide HELIX support under direct supervision.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant industrial experience in drafting and design or related coursework.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD, Microstation, or both.
  • Knowledge and application of CAD drafting standards.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
