Boeing is seeking highly skilled Structural Design Engineers to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. As a key member of our Air Dominance Engineering Teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and integrate structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
- Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods
- Perform and integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Manage supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals
- Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years' experience with Aircraft Structural Design utilizing metallic and composite materials
- Experience with three-dimensional parametric modeling using NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/ENOVIA methods and tools
- An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
- Experience in aerospace materials and structures used on commercial and/or military aircraft
- Experience with Full Size Determinant Assembly
