Job Summary:

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Chicago. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture
  • Prepare patients for blood draws by explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have
  • Label and transport blood samples to the laboratory for testing
  • Maintain accurate records of blood samples collected and results obtained
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Phlebotomy certification required
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
