SLP Operations, LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day nursing functions of our assigned area. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supervising Certified Nursing Assistants, providing nursing care to residents, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care.
- Develop and implement nursing unit priorities, orient new staff, and participate in the recruitment and selection of nursing personnel.
- Prepare and review medical records, assess residents' physical and emotional status, and provide nursing care according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Coordinate and assist with new admissions, transfers, and discharges, and communicate with residents, family members, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident status.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Capable of maintaining regular attendance and meeting local health regulations.
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
