Base Rate: $43.41-$60.79
12 hr. shifts: overtime is paid after 8 hours, resulting in an average rate of $50.65-$70.92
Sign-on/Retention Bonus: $10,000 /Full Time Only
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse II in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with the patient care team to achieve desired outcomes, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by delegating and working cooperatively with other team members. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service to all patients.
You will actively and consistently contribute to department operations and communications, and behave in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health System, LLC. You will uphold standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.
Essential Functions:- Two (2) years' experience preferred in the area applied for.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in area/specialty applied for.
- Adaptable to changing work schedules and patient needs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
- A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.
- Current professional RN license issued and/or recognized by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
- BLS from AHA.
- ACLS from AHA.
