Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Little City Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering speech therapy services to students with special needs, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaborating with classroom teams to implement therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide individual and group speech therapy sessions to students
  • Collaborate with classroom teams to develop and implement therapy plans
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, making recommendations for modifications to therapy plans as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's therapy
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Professional Educator License with a Speech Language Pathology endorsement
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Appropriate Speech Language Pathology licensure in accordance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations
Work Environment:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a typical classroom environment, interacting with students, teachers, and other staff members. The position requires occasional travel to other Little City community sites.

The physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods, frequent walking, standing, grasping, lifting, holding, or feeling objects, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must be able to operate office equipment and have corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
