Position Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Transport Specialist will be tasked with safely driving residents to various appointments across multiple facilities within the local area, and occasionally to farther locations as necessary.


Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will apply foundational nursing principles and basic assessment skills to create and execute personalized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring that all resident needs are adequately addressed. The CNA will engage in various customer care tasks and provide essential non-professional services to support the personal comfort and needs of the residents.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. The Certified Nursing Assistant must complete a minimum of 12 hours of Continuing Education programs offered by the Center to maintain their certification.
  2. Completion of a State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program is mandatory.
  3. A valid chauffeur's license is required.
  4. Current CPR certification is necessary.
  5. A valid driver's license must be held.
