Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technician is a vital member of the operating room team, responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of anesthesia services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist medical staff in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia machines, ventilators, and other equipment
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by medical staff
  • Assist with patient transport and transfer as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of anesthesia procedures and patient data
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Knowledge of basic pharmacology and sterile processing procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions

The Anesthesia Technician will work in a fast-paced operating room environment, with frequent exposure to blood and bodily fluids. The ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment is essential for this role.
