Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Thrive Pet Healthcare. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Support veterinarians in delivering high-quality patient care and advocating for the well-being of our patients.
- Assist with various hospital functions, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, and surgery assistance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to educate them on individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
