Team Overview

As we expand our commercial operations, we are in search of motivated individuals to join our Cedar City team. You will play a crucial role in our advanced manufacturing facility, contributing to our overall achievements.

Role Summary

The TPO Machine Technician is responsible for maintaining the high standards of production for commercial roofing materials at our Cedar City facility. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to safety, quality, and service. Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols in all tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve work-related challenges
  • Oversee quality assurance and production workflows
  • Conduct minor maintenance and cleanliness tasks
  • Identify and report defects in finished goods
  • Prepare for equipment shutdowns and product transitions
  • Follow safety guidelines to minimize risk of injury
  • Package and transport completed products
  • Foster positive relationships with team members
  • Monitor process alerts and promote continuous improvement

Work Schedule

Employees will work on a 4 on / 4 off schedule, with 12-hour shifts alternating between day and night every four weeks. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on the assigned schedule.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands
  • Specific vision capabilities required
  • Reach, bend, kneel, and crouch as necessary
  • Conduct detailed testing procedures
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination effectively
  • Read and focus on computer data entry
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Understanding of manufacturing principles and safety regulations
  • Positive demeanor and ability to work collaboratively
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
