We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Director, and Executive Director to ensure effective psychiatric/pharmacological interventions.
- Initial Evaluation and Ongoing Care: Conduct thorough initial evaluations within 72 hours of admission and provide weekly follow-up care to residents as needed.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor medications as necessary, working closely with the treatment team to ensure optimal care.
- Treatment Planning and Collaboration: Participate in weekly treatment planning meetings and contribute to the development of effective treatment plans.
- Communication and Documentation: Effectively communicate with families of residents, insurance companies, and other stakeholders as needed, and maintain accurate and detailed records in our EMR system.
- Qualifications: Must be a qualified psychiatrist with experience in addiction recovery care, preferably with board certification or board eligibility in addiction medicine.
- Education and Licensure: Must be a graduate of an approved medical school and hold a current license in the state of practice.
- Membership and Certification: Must be eligible for membership in the local branch of the State Medical Society.
