Job Overview

Care By Cassie Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential RN to join our team. As a key member of our Program Support Team, you will provide medical oversight and support to residents in our community living settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical oversight and support to residents, including direct observation and consultation.
  • Assist Program Managers with supervision and delegation of tasks.
  • Monitor and review medical documentation, medication administration records, and physician orders.
  • Develop and implement health care plans and policies in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and the Department of Mental Health.
  • Provide education and training to staff on health-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance RNs to implement and maintain statewide health and safety initiatives.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or mandated by the Department of Mental Health/Division and Developmental Disabilities.
Requirements
  • Active license in good standing issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • No convictions of disqualifying felonies and no substantiation for abuse or neglect in the state of Missouri.
  • Knowledge of the unique physical needs and medical implications of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum-necessary auto insurance coverage.
Working Conditions

This position requires extended periods of sitting with some periods of walking and standing. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and/or infectious diseases.
