Job Summary:

Parsons is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the resilient GPS network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, design, and implementation, as well as experience with GPS technology and network security.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and oversight of the GPS network development and implementation process

Design and implement network architectures to meet the needs of the GPS network

Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches to ensure optimal performance and security

Monitor network capacity and performance to identify areas for improvement

Test and maintain network infrastructure, including software and hardware devices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture

Active Secret Clearance

Strong knowledge of GPS technology and network security

Ability to design and implement network architectures

One infrastructure-related technology certification
