Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Store 2906-The Mills Jersey Gardens-ANN-Elizabeth, NJ 07201. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating client needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to our service experience standards.
  • Revenue Generation: Consistently meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals while contributing to the store's overall goals.
  • Operations: Complete opening/closing procedures and tasks, maintain a safe and clean store environment, and adhere to Loss Prevention practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in using Distributed Order Maintenance (DOM's) and StyleFinder to locate product for clients and process transactions accurately.
  • Product/Brand Management: Understand and articulate the Company's brand positioning, participate in store meetings, and proactively use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge.
Requirements
  • Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority.
  • Follow Directions: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes.
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with ANN INC.'s guidelines.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with Clients, Members of Management, Business Partners, and Store Associates.
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error.
  • Schedule: Remain flexible in scheduling that meets the needs of the business.
  • Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally. Maneuver effectively around sales floor and stock room.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results.
