Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist 2 to join our team at the Article 16 Clinic. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment services to individuals, including diagnosis, treatment, and prescription of medication. You will also provide clinical supervision and guidance to other medical personnel and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat individuals with mental health disorders
  • Prescribe and manage medication
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other medical personnel and clinicians
  • Advise residential multi-disciplinary treatment teams on implementing psychiatric plans of care
  • Oversee services for a treatment program, group, or individuals
Requirements
  • License to practice medicine in New York State
  • Board certification in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
