Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to assist our surgical team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgery, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and in good working condition.
  • Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and other items needed during surgery.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adjust instruments and equipment accordingly.
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by following strict infection control procedures.
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room and position them on the operating table.
  • Assist with the preparation and application of sterile dressings and bandages.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate records of supplies and equipment used.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after surgery.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be certified as a Surgical Technologist and have a strong commitment to patient safety and care.
