Position Summary:

This remote position requires the ideal candidate to manage daily field merchandising operations, ensuring program execution and quality control within a designated area. As a Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee merchandising staff and support numerous retail locations within your district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, and supervise all assigned personnel.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with retailer and client partners.
  • Organize staffing to fulfill client project needs.
  • Monitor district expenses, including travel and overtime.
  • Manage merchandising costs such as wages and travel expenditures.
  • Conduct in-store merchandising tasks, including audits and employee training.
  • Build a flexible workforce to accommodate fluctuations in merchandising demands.
  • Collaborate with a regional team to contribute to overall success.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in web-based reporting and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical capability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent supervisory experience. A minimum of 1-2 years in retail or field operations is required, along with a solid understanding of retail and merchandising practices.

Travel Requirements:

This role necessitates approximately 65% travel, including frequent visits to stores and interaction with employees across the region. Overnight stays may be required based on business needs.
